Now a simple and effective way to reduce water usage and still maintain adequate rinsing. We are pleased to announce the REMCO ENGINEERING rinse water timers. They are built into a waterproof epoxy boxes with an external raised pushbutton that energizes an internal timer. This activates a solenoid for a set time period. The timers are adjustable from 6 seconds to ten minutes. A 2.5 gpm flow restrictor is available for controlling flow rates on counterflow rinses. No flow restrictor is required on spray rinses. Available with options including remote solenoids, switches, and flow restrictors. The timers consist of a complete unit with continuous adjustment from 6 seconds to 10 minutes. An alternative range is from 1 minute to 100 minutes. Longer ranges are available. Excellent for spray or immersion rinses, the timers need only to be pressed once to initiate the time cycle. At the end of the preset cycle, the timer shuts off. The timer is completely waterproof and corrosion resistant and can be mounted on the side of your tank. Three types of mounting brackets are available: a. a polypropylene ell bracket for bolting to a polypropylene or PE rim, b. a 316 stainless ell bracket for steel or plastic tanks c. and a polypropylene back plate for welding to a polypropylene tank (standard). Also available is a timer with a sealed PHOTOCELL switch to activate spray rinses on conveyorized equipment. Centralize complete shop control systems are available for large installations. Applications include: a. spray rinses, b. counterflow or single flow rinses c. conveyorized rinsing equipment d. any timing function in a corrosive or wet environment
