THE MINI-MRIX SYSTEM SYSTEM
(AUTOMATED pH ADJUST WITH METAL RECOVERY)

This system is designed for heavy metal removal and water polishing to maintain compliance at low capital and operational costs. Designed to allow limited budgets to treat for Copper, Lead, Nickel, Cobalt, Zinc, Chrome and Uranium, Arsenic and Selenium. Oxidization/reduction systems for the removal of arsenic and selenium. The system features automatic controls with data logging, incoming pH adjust and outgoing pH adjust to ensure compliance. Rated at 2-5 gpm, with metal loadings of up to 10 ppm, the system is a very cost effective solution for those small problems with a big impact.

These system provide effluent streams with metal levels that are usually non-detectable.

Designed for off site regeneration or dump and fill waste streams where it is not cost effect to put in a fully regeneration systems.

A perfect system for pre paint lines, washing operations and low flow, low metal content ground water remediation. These system can be monitored remotely if required.

For higher flows and metal loadings, see our MRIX systems with flows from 10 gpm to 300 gpm. Metal recovery feeds at up to 6-10 g/l with concentrations between 60 and 80 g/l for value recovery.

Mini-MRIX system features -

  • Automated controls
  • Skid mount air compressor for valve control
  • Pressure and flow sensors (analog)
  • Data logging of flow(1), pressure(2), pH (2), metering pump operation
  • pH adjust of input water
  • Prefilter
  • Carbon filter
  • Post carbon filter
  • Dual Ion Exchange columns with 2.5 cu.ft of resin each
  • Air operated butterfly valves
  • Failure mode defaults to recycle loop

    Options include -

  • Chelated resins for divalent and trivalent metals
  • oxidizer canisters for arsenic and cyanide
  • reduction for selenium
  • arsenic and selenium adsorption media
  • carbon media
